Before we can talk about your astrology chart, we need to agree on something.

Astrology is not magic. It is not fortune telling. It is a language: one with it's own grammar, it’s own precision and over two thousand years of application to the study of human behaviour.

Like any language, it takes time to learn. But once you have even a basic working knowledge of it, something shifts. You start to see patterns you couldn’t name before.

You start to understand why certain periods of your life felt the way they did. You start to work with your own time cycles, instead of being dragged through them.

That is what Personhood Art is built on.

Personhood Art cultivates an understanding of your personal self-discovery through the language of western astrology.

Let me define the foundation clearly:

Personhood: the quality and condition of being an individual person

ART: human imagination and creative skill

Astrology: as the study of planetary influences on human behaviour

Together, these three form the lens through which I work. Personhood Art is all about knowing your own Cosmic DNA, the energetic blueprint you were born with, so that you can understand how the astrological tides will impact you, and what to do about it.

THE P.A.S.H PROFILE

My practice is organized around the four core components of western astrology. I call it the P.A.S.H. Profile: Planets, Aspects, Signs and Houses

Your Birth Chart is a map of the heavens at the exact moment you were born. The P.A.S.H. Profile is how we read that map through the lens of Personhood; not as abstract cosmic symbolism, but as direct, practical insight into how you are wired and what is currently in motion in your life.

PLANETS

Planets (and Luminaries) represent natural human impulses: drives that every one of us carries and expresses, in our own way, at our own intensity. The sign a planet occupies in your chart describes the style of that expression. The house it sits in shows you where in your life that energy is most active.

The natural impulse of the Sun is to aspire and shine
The natural impulse of the Moon is to let feeling(s) flow
The natural impulse of Mercury is to think and express
The natural impulse of Mars is to take action
The natural impulse of Venus is to love, show values and navigate finance
The natural impulse of Jupiter is to explore and expand
The natural impulse of Saturn is to time manage, handle tasks and responsibility
The natural impulse of Uranus is to handle independence and change
The natural impulse of Neptune is to use imagination and connect to your soul
The natural impulse of Pluto is to renew and use power

ASPECTS

Aspects describe the quality of the relationship between planets in your chart; the channels through which your own energies connect, reinforce or create friction with each other.

Conjunction = strong flow of concentrated energy blending
Opposition = opposites attracting and repelling
Square = tension from obvious obstacles to overcome
Trine = harmonious and cooperation flows
Sextile= complimentary atmosphere

Understanding your aspects helps you understand why some things come naturally to you and why others require consistent effort. Neither is a problem. Both are information.

SIGNS

The 12 signs of the zodiac describe energetic styles: the flavour and quality of expression that colours each planetary placement in your chart.

Aries = Spontaneous and Aggressive
Taurus = Sensible and Resistant to Change
Gemini = Adaptable and Scattered
Cancer = Nurturing and Evasive

Note that every sign carries both a strength and shadow. Working with your chart honestly means looking at both.

Houses of the Birth Chart represent the departments of Life; the areas of lived experience where your planetary energies play out.

1st House = Personality and Self Expression
2nd House = Resourcefulness, Values and Finance
3rd House = Communications, Community, Siblings and Neighbours
4th House = Private life, Heritage, Subconscious
5th House = Creativity, Love Given, Recreation, and Children

9th House = Higher Learning, Philosophy, Travel and Belief Systems
10th House = Public life, Career or Vocation

This is the language. Learning it, even partially, changes how you see your own life.
